The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread

Working for more than 11 years,  I came to realize every child is hungry for a home. A home that not just includes food to eat, a place to sleep but has a sense of safety and community. A home where love and emotional support is always available.

I started this foundation selflessly to support the orphan children in every aspects of their childhood life. It has not always been easy, as it comes with a long list of challenges to overcome but every single day I am learning about the children I support psychologically and emotionally and I am doing my best to understand them and support them as their teacher, sister, mother etc. I believe we are not just providing a shelter for our children but we are securing the future of this nation by providing them a home with education, health care, emotional support, love and care.

As Buddha said, in the end, these things matters most: How well did you love? How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go?

My 11 years of living with my 27 children has been so incredible. Every moment I share with them, the support I try my best to give, the love and care we give and receive from each other has been wonderful.

And what is more, both the foundation and I, are looking to invite more orphan children in our home. We feel like we have more love to share with those in need.  We will take care of them, educate them and make them a part of our BodhiChitta family to secure their future
